So, I started converting my father’s 1500+ VHS movies onto DVD. Again, the point of converting the movies, was to preserve his collection before the tapes began to deteriorate, losing his entire collection.

My father is a huge movie buff. It’s one of the things he enjoys on his downtime. Over the years, my father has amassed a very impressive movie collection of 1500+ VHS movies spanning across all genres.
Within his collection is a sizeable classic movie collection. Some are limited edition, some are probably hard to find. So, my goal was to transfer them to a more current medium, since they’d been sitting for so long. The goal was also to find a way to do it that wouldn’t bankrupt me by the time the project was finished.
