Invigorating Rosemary & Sage Herbal Bath
As wonderful as it feels to be pampered and cared for by someone else, we can’t neglect ourselves when that extra set of hands aren’t available. Take a little me time to rejuvenate, revive or relax with this invigorating rosemary & sage herbal bath.
After a long day or week for that matter, my favorite thing to do is to take an herbal bath soak. It’s so relaxing and it makes you slow down, quiet your thoughts, and exhale. Here is an herbal bath recipe to get you shooting on all cylinders again.
Invigorating Rosemary & Sage Bath
- 1/4 cup dried rosemary (relieves mental fatigue)
- 1/4 cup dried sage (treats loss of concentration)
- 2 tablespoons of oatmeal (softens the water)
- re-useable muslin sack or cloth pouch of some kind
Mix your ingredients and add to the sack. While the bath water is running, drop sack into the bathtub near the faucet. Once your water has reached the desired level, turn off and give your water a little stir before getting in. The herbal sack can now be used as an exfoliating herbal wash sack.
Once you’ve finished your bath, empty sack of herbs into the trash and allow the sack to air dry so it will be ready for that next relaxing bath.
